As with previous purchases, I am very happy with my Rigotti oboe easel. Service was prompt and professional.

A useful item
Having recently taken up the oboe again after a (very) long absence I thought it was about time to get a proper easel to trim the cane ends before binding. My previous easel had been the classic converted wooden clothes-peg marked with a pencil (as suggested in Evelyn Rothwell's book). However, this item is the real thing, made of smooth dark hardwood, nicely turned with a centre line and buffers at either end to stop the cane sliding off. Very simple and handy to use and quite a nice object in its own right.

Rigotti Oboe Easel - Perfect
Well turned, comfortable to use. Will accept slips of cane up to 76mm.
In a shipment of two reeds, one plays great (ergo the high rating) but the other is barely playable. Fortunately the good one tends to last until the following shipment.
(From the buyer's daughter who the reeds were bought for)
I love the reeds so much - they're super well made and work incredible. When I tried to work them in, I realized that they were a little too hard for the level that I'm at, but I 100% recommend them and will be buying a couple different types to see what works best for me
This was a present for my wife who is a talented bassoonist but had a very worn bassoon bag. She is very happy with her new one, and it looks great. Very happy.
The intermediate oboe reeds are resistant enough and not too noisy.
Suitable for orchestra!
